My Little Sydney Home

Since Ty and I moved into our tiny studio apartment just outside of Sydney, I have been keen to share it with people from back home. If you told me this time last year that I would be living in Sydney with my boyfriend, I would think you were joking, yet here we are. I’m so excited to show you our home. Its only tiny but it’s ours, and it’s absolutely perfect for what we need. It’s a work in progress with buying furniture and other decor bits and pieces but for now, this is home.

Due to our apartment being an L shape, it was very difficult to get an overview photo of the whole place, but with the photos below, you get the idea.

I love this place so much, and it is such an incredible feeling to come home and constantly be reminded that everything that is in our apartment is ours, and is a result of our hard work.

On another note, I thought I would share the card that my mum sent us when we moved it. It’s probably my favourite card that I have ever received and it makes me laugh every time that I look at it!

  1. Hi Annabel,

It’s lovely to see photos of your new home in Australia and good to see how happy you are there. I hope work is going well and that you are finding time to explore all the sights in and around Sydney.

It must have been good to see Jess recently and also your dad when he visited too.

I’m spending a lot of time reading and watching tv ATM after breaking my ankle while water skiing. I spent two days in hospital after having an emergency operation to insert two enormous screws into my ankle. It’s really frustrating as my cast is non weight bearing and I can’t drive for a few months. Unfortunately Louise, Mea and grandad were in the boat and I ruined our evening together! I think Mea enjoyed the ride in the boat though and also had fun sitting in a digger and a helicopter (courtesy of Alex) too.

Keep posting photos of your new life in Australia.

    Lots of love, Sarah Xxx
